Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex projects involving enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and Data AI initiatives. This senior role requires managing all phases of project delivery—from planning to execution—while maintaining stakeholder confidence and managing risks and dependencies. The position is based in Dublin with a flexible hybrid working model and occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive project planning and delivery across multiple technical workstreams, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and resource allocation.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including delivery plans, milestones, RAID logs, action items, decisions, and dependency trackers.
• Facilitate governance structures such as status reporting, change control, and escalation consistent with PMO and client standards.
• Serve as primary liaison among client stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth delivery coordination.
• Communicate technical progress, obstacles, and decisions clearly to business and senior leadership stakeholders.
• Work closely with architects and technical leads to confirm project plans align with architectural, security, integration, and quality standards.
• Track and manage technical decisions, assumptions, and interdependencies effectively.
• Support sprint, release, and transition planning activities across development, testing, infrastructure, data, and support teams.
• Identify and proactively manage risks across delivery, technical, security, and commercial aspects, escalating issues as required.
• Oversee management of cross-team dependencies, ensuring prompt ownership and closure of necessary actions.
• Support adoption, documentation, change management, and transition to live operations.
• Coordinate Data AI related project streams including planning, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to address responsible AI, data quality, security, and cloud migration requirements.
• Ensure pilots and proofs of concept have defined scope, success criteria, accountability, and transition strategies.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 to 10 years’ experience managing technology projects in medium to large organizations.
• At least 3 to 5 years managing complex technical projects or programs involving multiple teams or vendors.
• Demonstrated strong project management skills including planning, risk and issue management, governance, financial oversight, and change control.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft cloud technologies such as M365, SharePoint, Azure, Power Platform, and data management platforms.
• Experience collaborating with architects, developers, testers, infrastructure, security, data, and support teams.
• Background in regulated, public sector, or enterprise delivery environments is desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Agile, SAFe, or Microsoft technical certifications are advantageous.
