Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop distributed, Internet-scale features and infrastructure supporting 24/7 user-centric applications.
- Execute architectural decisions balancing synchronous and asynchronous patterns to build scalable, reliable software.
- Create robust, multi-tier applications with high-volume performance that deliver seamless user experiences.
- Produce unit-tested code that undergoes thorough code reviews and continuous integration for consistent quality.
- Identify and champion initiatives for enhancing engineering productivity across the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of professional programming experience in Java and/or C++.
- Preferred: More than 6 years of work experience with strong expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
- Demonstrated skills in object-oriented design, various programming patterns, and multiple programming languages.
- Hands-on experience in developing web applications and backend services using standard development tools and integrated development environments.
