Senior Software Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software Developer to design, build, test, and maintain scalable software applications. This role involves leading technical efforts, mentoring junior team members, working closely with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring delivery of top-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy robust software solutions with high standards of quality.
• Interpret business needs and convert them into technical specifications.
• Compose clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented source code.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with product management, quality assurance, design, and operations teams.
• Guide junior developers through mentorship, code reviews, and discussions.
• Participate actively in architecture planning, system design, and technology decision-making.
• Improve scalability, security, and overall performance of applications.
• Contribute to Agile processes such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Keep current with new technologies and suggest enhancements to development workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Professional experience ranging from 5 to 8+ years in software development.
• Expertise in at least one major programming language like Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience with modern development frameworks such as Spring Boot, .NET Core, Node.js, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• Proficient with both relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/delivery pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Awareness of best practices in software security.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proven experience mentoring development teams.

Compensation
