Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to craft comprehensive product experiences tailored for our clients in enterprise and public sectors. This position is full-time and supports remote work, based in Berlin, Germany.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the design efforts within cross-functional product teams, orchestrating design contributions across diverse disciplines.
• Conduct discovery sessions, develop prototypes, and perform usability research directly with end users to inform design decisions.
• Create and upkeep comprehensive design systems that serve as the foundation for client product interfaces.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to designers throughout the organization to promote design excellence and consistency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 5 years of experience designing products with a proven track record of launching consumer- or enterprise-focused solutions.
• Robust portfolio showcasing skills in product discovery, interaction design, and visual design innovation.
• Hands-on experience working effectively in cross-functional teams or squads.
• Additional advantage for candidates with knowledge of accessibility standards and experience maintaining design systems.

Hiring Process

• Initial 30-minute introductory phone call with a recruiter to discuss your background and fit.
• Conversation focused on practical design craft with a senior team member.
• A work-sample exercise either completed at your own pace or in a paired session to showcase your design capabilities.
• Final round consisting of two or three brief meetings with team members and leadership.

Decisions are communicated within five business days after the final stages.
