Senior Manager / Manager - Distribution Development Management

Role summary

This position is for a Senior Manager / Manager based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, within the Strategy Team. The role is designed for a commercially minded and detail-oriented professional who can help shape strategic direction, support growth initiatives, and turn analysis into practical action. The selected candidate will work closely with teams across the business to execute projects and provide decision-ready insights for leadership.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the design and delivery of strategic plans that support the company’s business objectives.
• Study market conditions, competitor moves, and emerging trends to surface growth opportunities.
• Track business performance indicators and build reports and dashboards for senior leaders.
• Support major strategic efforts including workflow improvement, digital initiatives, and launches of new products.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and finance stakeholders to help ensure initiatives are implemented smoothly.
• Create presentations and business cases to support leadership decisions.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline; an MBA is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in strategy, sales R&R, consulting, or business analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, along with solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment while handling several priorities at once.

Preferred exposure

• Experience or familiarity with insurance, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills, especially in building dashboards, are valued.
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be a plus.
