Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services primarily using Java and Spring Boot framework.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to implement comprehensive features.
• Design architectures prioritizing performance, scalability, and ease of maintenance.
• Develop unit, integration, and functional tests to uphold code quality standards.
• Lead code review sessions, provide guidance to junior developers, and promote coding and design best practices.
• Participate actively in designing and implementing solutions based on microservices architecture.
• Identify and resolve issues in production environments, focusing on performance improvements.
• Engage in Agile and Scrum processes contributing to planning and estimations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of professional experience in Java software development.
• Expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security frameworks.
• Thorough knowledge of RESTful API best practices and development.
• Proficient in Java 11 or higher, with a preference for Java 17 and above.
• Skilled in Java multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming techniques.
• Strong grasp of software design principles including OOP, SOLID, and Domain Driven Design.
• Hands-on experience with build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Competent in unit testing and integration testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
• Experienced in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git, and capable of conducting effective code reviews.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
