Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in villa and high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate must possess extensive knowledge of UAE electrical codes and project implementations within the region.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Total industry experience ranging from 18 to 22 years, including a minimum of 12 to 15 years of proven work within the UAE.
- Demonstrated expertise in both villa and high-rise residential or commercial construction projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of UAE electrical standards, DEWA regulations, and project-specific codes.
- Practical involvement with low voltage and medium voltage electrical systems, power distribution networks, lighting, earthing, fire alarms, ELV, and low current communication systems.
- Capable of executing testing, commissioning, and securing authority approvals.
- Strong skills in site execution, coordination with stakeholders, and thorough project documentation management.
- Excellent communication abilities coupled with leadership aptitude.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee onsite electrical works in accordance with approved construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Facilitate collaboration among consultants, contractors, and governmental authorities to ensure project alignment.
- Guarantee adherence to safety protocols and stringent quality benchmarks across all electrical tasks.
- Develop, review, and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements relevant to electrical installations.
- Track progress at the construction site and promptly address any technical challenges that arise.
- Provide support during testing, commissioning phases, and final handover procedures to clients and regulatory bodies.
