Senior Data Analyst

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) is a global Engineering Research & Development (ER&D) services company, a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro. They specialize in engineering, digital transformation, product development, embedded systems, industrial automation, AI, and Industry 4.0 solutions. We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in Industrial Data Analytics, Oil & Gas operations, AspenTech Inmation, and PI Systems. This role is crucial for delivering data-driven industrial use cases, converting operational technology (OT) data into actionable business insights, and driving digital transformation across industrial operations. The position is based in Bangalore, India, and prefers candidates available for immediate to 30-day notice periods.

• Spearhead industrial data analytics projects, delivering impactful operational use cases.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of extensive OT and industrial datasets to pinpoint trends, performance inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.
• Develop and implement robust data models, key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reporting solutions to enhance operational excellence.
• Utilize AspenTech Inmation and PI Systems for the acquisition, contextualization, and analysis of industrial data.
• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, operations personnel, and engineering teams to define analytics requirements.
• Translate intricate operational data into clear, actionable recommendations for business and plant leadership.
• Support initiatives in predictive analytics, asset performance monitoring, process optimization, and reliability improvement.
• Create compelling data visualization solutions and executive dashboards to aid decision-making.
• Uphold data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards across both OT and IT environments.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the advancement of analytics strategy and best practices.

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in Data Analytics, Industrial Analytics, or Digital Transformation projects.
• Substantial domain expertise within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, or Process Industries.
• Practical experience with AspenTech Inmation and OSIsoft PI System / PI Historian.
• A solid understanding of OT data architectures, industrial historians, and data integration methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or comparable platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL, data analysis techniques, and the development of industrial KPIs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and business-facing communication capabilities.
• Proven track record of delivering complete industrial analytics use cases from inception to completion.

• Familiarity with Industrial IoT (IIoT), Industry 4.0, and Digital Manufacturing concepts.
• Exposure to Cloud Analytics platforms including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of OPC UA, SCADA, DCS, PLC, and various industrial automation systems.
• Experience in Predictive Maintenance, Asset Performance Management (APM), and Operational Excellence programs.
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications within industrial settings.
