Jasara Program Management Company is looking for an experienced Senior Cost Manager to spearhead cost management activities on significant projects. This leadership position demands a seasoned professional to drive cost control, budget formulation, and financial analysis to ensure project profitability and efficiency.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and enforce cost management strategies for diverse project portfolios.
• Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts customized for project needs.
• Track financial progress of projects, identify deviations, and suggest appropriate corrective measures.
• Perform thorough analysis of intricate cost information and generate comprehensive reports for management and stakeholders.
• Work in close collaboration with project managers and engineering teams to maintain rigorous cost control.
• Supervise procurement activities, including contract evaluation and supplier negotiation regarding terms and pricing.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior cost management personnel.
• Continuously update knowledge on industry developments, market conditions, and latest cost estimation practices.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in cost management, with at least 5 years serving in a senior capacity within the construction or project management sector.
• Expertise in project cost control and relevant estimation software tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of contract management and negotiation techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills including team management experience.
• Capability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Knowledge of Middle Eastern market trends and pricing is an advantage.
