Role Overview
Sify is seeking an experienced cloud leader to design and run large-scale infrastructure environments. The position focuses on building reliable, secure, and scalable cloud systems while working closely with different teams to support application deployment and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and support enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure across platforms such as OpenStack, VMware vSphere, and Hyper-V.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to deploy scalable applications on cloud environments.
- Maintain strong availability, security, and performance standards by continuously monitoring systems and resolving issues.
- Write automation utilities and scripts in Linux shell languages, including Bash, to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 8 to 18 years of experience in the IT services and consulting sector with hands-on cloud computing experience, especially OpenStack.
- Solid understanding of virtualization technologies such as ESXi and Hyper-V.
- Prior exposure to Kubernetes or similar containerization platforms will be considered an advantage.
