Role overview
This opportunity is for seasoned cybersecurity professionals who want to contribute to advanced AI development while working remotely and choosing their own hours. The work focuses on helping AI systems become more reliable by checking whether security-related outputs match real-world practice.
As part of the team, you will collaborate with cutting-edge AI models on tasks such as reviewing AI-produced security material, tackling technical security challenges, and sharing feedback that helps improve how these systems understand threats and defenses in practical settings. Some contributors use this as a side engagement alongside a full-time role, while others make it their main focus.
How the process works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that functions as the screening step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will become available through the platform.
Compensation and working style
Work is project-based and paid hourly, with rates starting at $50 and reaching $100+ per hour on some projects. Bonus rates may also be offered for select assignments. You decide which projects to take on and when to work, using your own computer from home.
Responsibilities
- Check AI-generated cybersecurity material for technical accuracy, including threat analysis, vulnerability review, and offensive security topics.
- Create and solve security-oriented technical challenges used for AI training.
- Produce well-written technical explanations and security-related code.
- Share feedback that helps improve future AI security models.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a cybersecurity position, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related government or military cyber work.
- Basic coding ability, including confidence working within and updating a codebase.
- Strong English communication skills at native or bilingual level, with solid writing ability.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Professional cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or equivalent are an advantage.
