Role Summary and Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled shifts punctually and participate in briefing sessions before and after each duty period.
• Wear and use all necessary company-issued operational gear during working hours.
• Supervise the daily functioning of the Hotel Security Control Room.
• Constantly monitor CCTV footage and other security technology, immediately reporting any anomalies.
• Control access to the hotel premises ensuring entrance is limited to authorized individuals only.
• Conduct frequent rounds covering guest rooms, public zones, and behind-the-scenes areas.
• React quickly and effectively to emergencies involving safety, security, or medical issues.
• Contribute actively to the Hotel Emergency Action Team (HEAT) and the Company's Emergency Response Team (CERT).
• Document incidents accurately, carry out preliminary investigations within SOP guidelines.
• Manage lost and found items, control key issuance, and oversee visitor and contractor passes.
• Provide crowd control support, manage elevator access, and escort VIPs as necessary.
• Assist in training security staff on standard operating procedures and hotel policies.
• Maintain all security equipment in proper working order and report any malfunctions promptly.
• Work in coordination with hotel management, vendors, and external agencies regarding security-related matters.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Security Manager or Director of Security.

Qualifications and Expertise

• Minimum educational attainment: GCE ‘O’ Level.
• At least four years of security experience specifically within 4 or 5-star hotel environments.
• Preference for candidates with a supervisory background in law enforcement.
• Experience handling life-saving or property protection responsibilities.
• Certified skills in CPR, first aid, firefighting and managing crowds.
• Must possess the Chief Security Officer Certification mandated by local authorities.
• Certification in Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
• Familiarity with hotel security systems operations.
• Proficiency in computer use, incident report composition, communication, investigative procedures, and interviewing techniques.
