About the Role
Join New Media's dynamic team as a Scriptwriter, crafting compelling scripts that fuel virality for leading tech brands. This role focuses on writing short-form, engaging video content for product launches and campaigns, specifically designed for platforms like X and LinkedIn. The position demands creativity, speed, and a keen understanding of social media trends, especially in the tech space.
Key Responsibilities
- Compose video scripts for tech product drops and launch campaigns.
- Create attention-grabbing hooks, smooth narrative progressions, and persuasive calls to action optimized for virality on X and LinkedIn.
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines, adapting scripts quickly to meet high-performance standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Active engagement on X (Twitter), particularly with tech-related content; familiarity with the platform's language, culture, and trends.
- Demonstrable evidence of creating viral content, such as personal posts, thumbnails, titles, or credited video editing with over one million views.
- Capability to manage unpredictable, fast-paced schedules independently.
- Excellent command of concise and compelling English writing preserving tone and voice.
Additional Preferences: Prior experience scripting for tech companies or SaaS products and Bangalore-based candidates are viewed favorably.
Compensation and Other Details
This full-time position offers a base salary of USD 2,000 monthly, with performance-based incentives to increase pay to USD 3,000 within two months based on key performance indicators.
