Role Overview

As a Scheduler/Pre-Registrar, you will play a vital role in facilitating outpatient care by managing scheduling requests through phone and fax. Your responsibilities include completing patient pre-registration and verifying valid provider orders to ensure smooth processing.

Position Details

This opportunity is a PRN (pro re nata) role, with approximately five shifts scheduled within a six-week timeframe, designed to provide coverage during absences such as vacations or call-offs. While PRN positions are not eligible for typical benefits, a 10% pay differential above the base rate is included. This remote role requires candidates to reside in either Kansas or Colorado.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferred: At least one year of previous experience in patient scheduling or patient access roles.
• Preferred: Experience working in healthcare office settings, familiarity with medical terminology, and understanding of CPT/ICD-9 codes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
• Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements

The role involves mostly sedentary work, including prolonged sitting periods and the occasional need to exert up to 10 pounds of force.
