SAP BASIS Lead

Join a leading global consulting firm to work on advanced SAP environments with an emphasis on hybrid cloud and AI-driven transformations. This role involves close partnership with SAP and ISVs to access cutting-edge technologies, helping clients implement transformative SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee SAP HANA infrastructure and BASIS components to ensure a scalable, secure, and robust SAP ecosystem.
• Establish and govern the end-to-end SAP HANA and BASIS architectures across various landscapes including on-premises and cloud environments.
• Optimize configurations for systems such as SAP HANA, S/4HANA, ECC, BW, SCM, CRM, SRM, and HCM.
• Lead technical architectural decisions for SAP deployments on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, including migration strategies aligned with RISE models.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure cloud solutions are performant and secure.
• Design SAP applications to operate efficiently across multiple platforms, integrating SAP and non-SAP components seamlessly.
• Be responsible for SAP system performance, uptime, and scalability, performing proactive monitoring and optimization of databases, workloads, interfaces, and data replication.
• Provide technical guidance on advanced SAP technologies including SAP BTP, SLT, ASE, LeanIX, and HANA-based integration and extension scenarios.
• Ensure SAP platforms adhere to security-by-design, implementing access controls, secure connectivity, compliance, and audit mechanisms.
• Deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations in reliability and quality.

Bachelor's Degree

Technical and Professional Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA, BASIS, and S/4HANA architectures.
• Hands-on experience with ECC, BW, SCM, CRM, SRM, and HCM modules.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or other hyperscalers.
• Expertise in SAP BTP, SLT, ASE, and LeanIX technologies.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, performance tuning, scalability, and database concepts including SQL.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
