Role Overview

The company is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join its Digital & IT team in Mumbai. The role focuses on developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications with a significant emphasis on SAP HCM and integration with other SAP modules like MM and FICO. The developer will collaborate extensively with functional teams to build effective business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, improve, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs across various modules, mainly focusing on SAP HCM.
• Develop technical ABAP solutions, including Object-Oriented ABAP, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Enhancements, ALE/EDI, IDOCs, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts, Module Pool Programming, and BDC.
• Provide support for SAP HCM applications such as Employee Self Service and assist developments in MM, FICO, and other modules.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business users to accurately understand requirements and implement scalable technical solutions.
• Coordinate with SAP Application Management Services partners to enhance applications, resolve issues, and provide production support.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and external software systems.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation: technical specifications, design documents, test cases, and plans.
• Support the implementation of SAP OSS Notes and effectively troubleshoot technical problems.
• Participate in SAP system enhancements, implementations, upgrades, and performance improvements.
• Oversee development tasks to ensure quality standards and on-time delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
• At least 1 year of practical experience specifically in SAP ABAP development.
• Possession of a mandatory SAP ABAP certification.

Educational Eligibility

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in any specialization.
