Job Overview
The Sales Support Specialist role is dedicated to assisting sales team objectives through real-time support and ensuring accurate order processing within the designated geographic areas. These specialists play a key role in maintaining compliance with sales policies and providing direct assistance to Sales channels and customers.
Key Duties
- Handle escalated new order inquiries from both Residential and Business Sales teams and resolve any obstacles preventing order entry.
- Verify service availability at given addresses in real-time and incorporate new addresses into billing software following established business procedures.
- Manage and update order entry databases to guarantee smooth order processing functionality.
- Track and analyze escalation cases while adhering strictly to business standards and documented procedures.
- Address customer concerns related to order issues prior to installation, ensuring service meets customer expectations within departmental guidelines.
- Provide immediate feedback to Sales representatives about errors in order entries.
- Engage in beta testing for newly developed sales tools and system upgrades.
- Support Sales channels by resolving order entry failures or fallouts.
- Assist with new construction processes by keeping customers and sales personnel informed during survey and building phases.
- Conduct customer outreach for various marketing or service campaigns.
Qualifications
- Completion of high school diploma or an equivalent credential.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service roles is advantageous.
- Background in a high-volume call center environment preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and independently resolve issues.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including day shifts, nights, and weekends.
