Beyond product sales, they offer racking inspections, compliance checks, repairs, and ongoing maintenance to ensure secure and efficient warehouse operations. The team collaborates closely with clients to deliver customized solutions that enhance storage capacity, safety, and overall efficiency.
Role Overview
The Sales Specialist position is a full-time, on-location role at Hamilton. The role focuses on generating new business opportunities while managing existing client relationships. Responsibilities include identifying potential sales leads, performing site assessments, understanding client requirements, and suggesting suitable racking and safety products. The Sales Specialist will handle quote preparation, product presentations, coordination with installation and maintenance teams, and post-sale follow-ups to guarantee customer satisfaction. Accurate record-keeping of sales activities, supporting compliance services, and engaging in product and safety training to competently present Capital Racking's benefits are integral parts of this role.
Candidate Qualifications
- Excellent communication and client service skills to effectively engage customers and understand their needs.
- Demonstrated sales experience with an ability to recognize prospects, negotiate deals, and close sales in a B2B environment.
- Background in sales management or account management, including tracking pipelines and reporting on performance metrics.
- Capability to conduct training through product demos, safety briefings, and advising on racking solutions.
- Familiarity with warehouse or industrial storage systems is preferred, or a strong willingness to acquire technical knowledge.
- Availability to work on-site in Hamilton, perform client visits, and collaborate with operation and installation teams.
- Good organizational and time-management skills to juggle multiple client requests and projects concurrently.
- Relevant experience in sales, logistics, warehousing, or related fields; holding a valid driver's license is advantageous.
