About the Role
Join Propel Industries as a Sales Engineer Trainee based in Madurai, India. This role involves supporting the sales team in uncovering new customers and expanding business opportunities within sectors such as quarries, mining, construction, and infrastructure projects. You will be deeply involved in understanding client needs and suggesting appropriate crushing equipment solutions, including crushers, screening machines, conveyors, and spare parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying potential customers and areas for business growth.
- Conduct field visits to quarries, mining sites, construction companies, and infrastructure locations to develop leads.
- Analyze customer requirements and propose relevant crushing system solutions.
- Prepare quotations and proposals while maintaining follow-up communications with clients.
- Keep customer information up-to-date in CRM systems and prepare sales reports regularly.
- Coordinate between technical, production, and service departments to ensure prompt customer assistance.
- Support product demonstrations and customer site visits to showcase equipment capabilities.
- Monitor market trends, competitors' actions, and pricing strategies.
- Take part in exhibitions, dealer meetings, and promotional activities to enhance brand presence.
- Strive to meet assigned sales goals and contribute to business objectives.
- Gather customer feedback to boost satisfaction and product service levels.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eager to quickly learn about technical products and sales.
- Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel frequently for client visits and events.
