About the Role
L&T Valves seeks proactive Sales Engineers to spearhead sales and business growth initiatives for industrial valves and flow-control products within designated markets and customer bases.
Key Duties
- Generate new enquiries and expand business prospects.
- Market and promote industrial valves and flow-control solutions to prospective clients.
- Engage in technical discussions and prepare proposals and quotations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and comprehensive customer support.
- Build and maintain robust client relationships aimed at fostering repeat business.
- Meet or exceed sales goals while facilitating market growth efforts.
- Keep track of market trends and competitor activities.
- Compile sales forecasts, management information system reports, and update sales pipelines.
Candidate Profile
- B.E / B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related fields.
- 4 to 5 years of professional experience specializing in sales of industrial valves, pumps, flow-control, or process-related equipment.
- Prior exposure to sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Chemicals, or Process industries is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong client management capabilities.
