About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Consultant to join a dynamic team in Queanbeyan, NSW. This role focuses on strategic relationship-building and delivering valuable solutions to clients within the ACT and NSW construction and trades sectors. The position involves managing the complete sales process from initial engagement through to post-sale care, emphasizing quality interactions over extensive cold-calling.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the ACT construction and trades market.
• Work collaboratively with clients to identify their specific needs and craft tailored solutions.
• Oversee the sales cycle from the initial site visit to the final project handover.
• Coordinate with operations and site teams to ensure that service delivery meets client expectations.
• Identify new business prospects and consistently provide value to foster growth opportunities.
• Represent the company at major trade events to build connections and enhance market presence.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven negotiation abilities focused on building trust and maintaining long-term client relationships rather than transactional sales.
• Resilience and capability to handle objections, including some cold-calling situations.
• Meticulous attention to detail paired with a proactive attitude and strong business insight.
• Positive mindset and a passion for professional growth within consultative sales roles.
• Competency in adopting new technical tools and software quickly.
• At least two years of experience in sales or consultancy within construction, building materials, or trade services is preferred.
