Job Summary

As a Room Attendant based in Abu Dhabi, you will be fundamental in ensuring guest comfort by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the property. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Rooms, you will deliver superior housekeeping services maintaining professionalism and attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that values teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to guests while maintaining their privacy and confidentiality.
• Perform thorough cleaning and servicing of assigned guest rooms, suites, and public spaces in line with hotel quality standards.
• Complete all housekeeping tasks including making beds, changing linens, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, floor cleaning, and sanitizing bathrooms diligently.
• Ensure all glass surfaces such as windows and mirrors are spotless.
• Efficiently remove trash and used items from rooms, disposing of waste correctly.
• Replenish room supplies including towels, toiletries, and guest amenities promptly.
• Conduct inspections to confirm rooms are clean, well-prepared, and functional.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns without delay to relevant departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and linen closets.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and sanitation protocols including proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Respond quickly to guest requests and maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors.
• Assist with specialized cleaning projects, deep cleaning, and room preparations as required.
• Show flexibility in work schedule and support team efforts during busy periods.

Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Responsibilities

• Comply with organizational safety policies and procedures, contributing to a safe work environment for self and others.
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and follow established safety systems.
• Participate in safety training and report hazards or near misses promptly.
• Engage in consultative safety initiatives including risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Stop any unsafe operations in the workplace and communicate concerns to management.
• Maintain up-to-date OSH records and adhere to emergency and evacuation procedures.

Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility

• Implement departmental sustainability initiatives aligned with organizational environmental goals.
• Follow procedures related to waste segregation, energy, and water conservation.
• Identify and suggest opportunities to enhance sustainability practices.
• Lead orientation on environmental responsibility for new team members and participate in relevant CSR activities.
