Retail Cashier

Role Overview

As a Retail Cashier at New Meena Bazar International Pvt Ltd, you will welcome customers warmly and ensure they experience friendly and efficient service during billing. Your duties will encompass multiple payment transaction methods and maintaining accuracy throughout the checkout process.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and deliver excellent service during bill processing.
• Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and other digital platforms accurately.
• Prepare bills, issue receipts, and confirm that transactions are error-free.
• Manage customer returns, exchanges, and refunds adhering strictly to company guidelines.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer, performing cash reconciliation at both shift start and end.
• Keep the billing area neat, orderly, and stocked with all necessary supplies.
• Check product prices, discounts, and promotional offers to ensure correct billing.
• Assist customers with inquiries about products and collaborate with the sales team as needed.
• Encourage customers to participate in loyalty programs, gift voucher usage, memberships, and ongoing promotions.
• Report any discrepancies such as cash shortages, overages, billing mistakes, or system problems promptly to the Store Manager.

Compensation

The role offers a monthly salary in the range of INR 18,000 to 28,000.
