Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cluster Buyer to assume responsibility for procurement and commercial outcomes across several stores and product categories within our retail sector.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities and supplier relationships
- Oversee pricing strategies and monitor gross profit margins
- Track sales performance and implement improvements
- Plan stock availability and manage replenishment
- Coordinate promotional planning and execute marketing campaigns
- Control aging inventory and minimize dead stock
- Evaluate and manage vendor performance
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Store Buyer within FMCG retail
- Strong negotiation capabilities coupled with analytical proficiency
- Comprehensive understanding of inventory management and merchandising practices
- Competence in SAP software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
