Retail Assistant

Role overview

Holland & Barrett is looking for a part-time Retail Assistant to join its Dunlaoghaire Shopping Centre store in County Dublin. This is a permanent position with a working pattern of 20 hours each week and pay at €15.40 per hour.

In this role, you will represent the brand on the shop floor, helping customers make informed choices about health and wellness products while contributing to a well-run, safe, and attractive store environment.

What you will do

• Be the trusted first point of contact for customers seeking guidance on their wellness goals.
• Replenish stock, keep displays attractive, and ensure promotional activity is executed correctly.
• Follow store procedures that support compliance, safety, and strong presentation standards.
• Complete the Qualified to Advise training so you can provide informed product support.
• Use your developing product knowledge to suggest suitable items and solutions to customers.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet store targets and contribute to strong business results.
• Serve as a health and wellness ambassador for shoppers.

What we are looking for

We are seeking someone who communicates well, enjoys helping people, and has a genuine interest in health and wellbeing. You should be comfortable working as part of a team, handling several tasks at once, and staying organised in a busy retail setting.

Confidence using technology, including tablets for product reviews and recommendations, will help you succeed in the role. Prior retail or customer-facing experience is helpful, but it is not essential; enthusiasm, attitude, and a willingness to learn are the most important qualities, and full training will be provided.
