Job Overview

We are seeking a Restaurant Hostess to warmly welcome guests at Turquoise Restaurant, manage table reservations, and oversee guest flow. You will report directly to the Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their seats.
• Manage telephone reservation bookings and keep the reservations well organized.
• Assist with table and display preparations.
• Update and maintain the guest database accurately.
• Fully understand and apply Luxury Quality Assurance (LQA) and Hotel Standards in guest interactions.
• Attend to guests attentively, handle their complaints professionally, and escalate incidents as necessary to Supervisory or Management staff.
• Participate in service training organized by the outlet's trainer or management to master service standards.
• Accurately complete all outlet-related reports in a timely manner.
• Support the service team during busy periods in various areas, such as section holding, coffee station, back area, and mise en place.
• Keep the hostess station, surrounding areas, and menus clean and orderly.
• Maintain strong collaboration with colleagues and other hotel departments.
• Prepare necessary operational materials for the back office timely and correctly.
• Adhere strictly to safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
• Present bills and perform cashier duties when required.
• Effectively manage guest flow to maximize table turnover.
• Ensure readiness of restaurant, staff, and tables before opening in accordance with standards.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by hotel management.
• Support other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completed secondary education.
• At least one year of experience in Food & Beverage within the hotel industry.
• Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking; additional languages such as Russian or Arabic are advantageous.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
