Restaurant Assistant Manager

Overview

This role requires on-site presence at Queen's Coach Family Restaurant in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Candidates must be fluent in English and have completed secondary (high) school education. Applicants should have between one and two years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the daily operational workflow of the restaurant
• Oversee and monitor team members' performance
• Develop and coordinate daily activities and staff schedules
• Lead and supervise a small team of 3 to 4 employees
• Manage financial tasks including cash balancing, completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related documentation
• Conduct regular staff performance appraisals
• Price products and services appropriately
• Maintain and organize inventory records
• Ensure all health and safety standards and regulations are strictly followed
• Handle customer concerns and complaints effectively
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Plan, direct, monitor, control, and assess daily restaurant operations

Technical Proficiencies

• Operation of electronic cash registers and point of sale systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
