Role Overview

We seek a seasoned Site Project Manager to join our expanding team. This role involves overseeing residential construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, timely delivery, budget adherence, and exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations at residential construction sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to meet project milestones.
• Track construction progress and keep schedules up to date.
• Ensure compliance with NZ Building Code, local council regulations, and company quality benchmarks.
• Perform regular site inspections and swiftly address issues on-site.
• Implement health and safety protocols across all projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, inspectors, and internal stakeholders through all phases of construction.
• Organize material arrivals and manage site logistics.
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including reports and records.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• At least two years of residential site management experience in New Zealand.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
• In-depth understanding of New Zealand residential construction techniques and the NZ Building Code.
• Capability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership qualities paired with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Possession of a valid New Zealand driver's licence.

Preferred Credentials

• Relevant educational background in Construction Management, Building, Engineering, or related fields.
• Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) certification is advantageous though not mandatory.
• Proven experience working on townhouse or multi-unit residential projects is highly valued.
