Role Purpose

The Reservations Agent is responsible for managing guest queries and bookings by delivering exceptional service that ensures smooth reservation processes while maximizing revenue and upholding superior quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master revenue management and pricing principles across segments such as Retail, Negotiated, Leisure, and Group to apply rate controls and optimize bookings.
  • Effectively convert guest inquiries into confirmed bookings using personalized interaction and proficient upselling aligned with revenue strategies.
  • Offer tailored, high-end service focused on meeting the distinct preferences of ultra-luxury guests by leveraging in-depth knowledge of hotel’s offerings.
  • Ensure flawless communication handling reservation-related calls and emails, maintaining accuracy within the PMS and proper market segmentation.
  • Identify sales prospects across individual clients, corporate accounts, travel agencies, and wholesalers, enhancing relationships with VIP clientele through exclusive recommendations.
  • Consistently meet or exceed brand quality benchmarks including LQA and IFH Mystery Shopping results, guaranteeing reservation precision and guest satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate expertise in operating Opera PMS, Resaweb, revenue management software, and hotel telephone systems to support daily functions.
  • Assist leadership with strategic projects and contribute towards departmental objectives such as loyalty program enrollment and guest engagement.
