The position is based at Anantara Downtown Dubai, a part of Anantara Hotels & Resorts, a global luxury hotel brand inspired by Thai culture and dedicated to authentic hospitality. Key Responsibilities

As a Reservation Agent, you will assist the Reservations Supervisor in overseeing the reservation team's daily performance, ensuring all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are strictly followed. Your tasks will include maintaining and enhancing reservations processes to guarantee precision in guest bookings, optimizing revenue, and elevating satisfaction for both guests and team members.

You will monitor daily arrivals and ensure all guest requests are communicated efficiently. Inventory management duties involve handling allotments, group blocks, and rate code settings across applicable systems. Additionally, you will support the Reservations Manager in boosting upselling efforts within the hotel and maximizing the use of diverse distribution channels such as IBE, GDS, tour operators, Small Luxury Hotels networks, and regional and corporate sales offices.

Candidate Qualifications

• Proficient with hotel operational technology including Opera Cloud and RMS, as well as familiarity with all relevant distribution channels.
• Good understanding of regional and local market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming events in the destination area.
