Job Overview
Atrium is looking for a skilled Research Associate to join a global pharmaceutical company’s team in Surrey. This contract position lasting 23 months involves supporting both administrative coordination and scientific projects focused on health economics and outcomes research, real-world evidence, and migraine-related studies.
Key Duties
- Assist with process-related activities for study protocols and evidence generation initiatives.
- Conduct quality control checks on protocols and study documents prepared by the global team.
- Manage and maintain study documentation systems and public registries such as GDMS and EU PASS as needed.
- Organize and coordinate study calls involving vendors, stakeholders, project managers, Key Opinion Leaders, and internal collaborators.
- Handle ad hoc requests, including locating relevant publications and performing informal literature research.
- Monitor budgets, studies, project timelines, contracts, publications, invoices, and all pertinent documentation.
- Support activities related to publication planning, monitoring, manuscript development, scientific reviews, and journal submission processes.
Candidate Profile
- Possess an advanced degree in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, public health, pharmacy, health policy, or related disciplines.
- Have prior experience in research, academia, consultancy, pharmaceutical industry, HEOR, or comparable fields.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of health services research methodologies, observational study designs, literature reviews, database analyses, epidemiology, and statistics.
- Exhibit strong skills in project management, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of managing priorities independently.
- Hold at least one year of relevant professional experience in pharma, consulting, HEOR, or closely related areas.
