Role Overview
We seek a Recruiting Lead who will report directly to our Head of People and oversee end-to-end recruitment across the organization as we expand. In this role, you will spearhead talent acquisition strategies, candidate evaluation, and hiring processes while developing systems and building our employer brand to support scalable hiring.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complete recruiting processes for various departments, including sales, operations, engineering, and clinical roles, managing everything from sourcing candidates to finalizing hires.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to design and optimize interview plans and establish clear hiring criteria.
- Develop and maintain robust candidate pipelines by sourcing, screening, and managing candidates through offer stages to closure.
- Take ownership and drive continuous improvement of Ashby, our applicant tracking system, leveraging it for recruitment metrics tracking and pipeline health analysis.
- Explore and deploy AI-based tools and solutions to automate and enhance hiring workflows as the company scales.
- Enhance WellTheory's employer brand and candidate experience to ensure consistently positive impressions during all recruitment interactions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven hands-on experience with Ashby and managing full-cycle recruiting for two or more functional areas such as sales, operations, engineering, or clinical roles.
- Experienced in leveraging artificial intelligence tools to facilitate candidate sourcing or streamline recruitment processes.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced, and ambiguous settings, with the ability to innovate and establish recruiting practices independently.
- A naturally curious and eager learner who enjoys solving new challenges and building processes from scratch.
- Demonstrates genuine empathy, warmth, and sound judgment in interpersonal relations and professional conduct.
Additional Advantages
- Prior experience leading recruitment efforts at a fast-growing Series A/B startup, involved in scaling from around 50 to 150+ employees.
- Background in recruiting for digital health companies.
- Personal empathy or understanding of the autoimmune community and related health experiences.
Benefits and Compensation
- Opportunity to architect WellTheory's entire recruiting function early in its development.
- Direct mentorship and partnership opportunities with an experienced Head of People.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 to $160,000, complemented by significant equity and benefits. Exact placement depends on relevant skills and experience.
- A supportive team environment that values care for colleagues and the communities we serve.
