Role Overview
The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of roles within the company including Sales Assistants, Storekeepers, Warehouse personnel, and junior head office employees. They coordinate the final hiring decisions for store leadership roles in partnership with senior HR management and manage internal movements such as transfers, promotions, and part-time staffing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee comprehensive recruitment processes for junior to mid-level positions, covering job advertisements, candidate sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
- Drive recruitment initiatives targeting UAE Nationals to meet Emiratization goals.
- Build and sustain collaborations with universities and external recruitment platforms.
- Ensure weekly updates of job vacancies on the company website and other job portals.
- Analyze recruitment channels to optimize candidate sourcing and maintain an updated database.
- Administer psychometric testing, manage online test credits, extract and record test results.
- Communicate selection outcomes to both internal and external candidates.
- Conduct background reference checks for head office staff and store supervisors and above.
- Work with line managers to finalize selection of Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers.
- Draft offer letters and secure necessary pre-employment documentation promptly.
- Coordinate with the Public Relations department and overseas Public Relations Officers on employment visa and work permit processing.
- Schedule new hire medical appointments through store coordination.
- Issue temporary bank cards for hires without bank accounts.
- Manage documentation submission for insurance enrollment.
- Create physical employee records upon onboarding.
- Prepare and follow up on Asset Requisition Forms for new head office staff.
- Confirm new joiners with line managers and organize first day onboarding activities.
- Provide joining information to HR specialists to ensure accurate HR system entries.
- Maintain and update the company manpower budget, ensuring recruitment aligns with approved positions.
- Ensure Manpower Requisition Forms are secured before recruitment commences.
- Prepare and issue letters for employee transfers and promotions.
- Collaborate with HR specialists to input accurate transfer, promotion, and compensation data into HR systems and payroll.
- Manage relocation allowances where applicable.
- Ensure consistent compliance with standard compensation and benefits packages.
- Update job descriptions regularly for all positions.
- Compile and distribute weekly recruitment status reports for management and relevant teams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 4 years of total work experience, with a minimum of 2 years in recruitment roles within the UAE.
- Possess an attested Bachelor's degree.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential; Arabic language skills preferred.
