Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Ready Mix Driver to safely operate concrete mixer trucks and transport loads to both commercial and residential construction sites. The role involves navigating various terrains, including uneven ground, and may require handling extension chutes weighing between 30 to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Deliver concrete loads timely and securely to designated job locations.
• Adjust concrete discharge methods to suit different job site conditions.
• Handle and attach extension chutes as needed to facilitate precise concrete placement.
• Perform regular maintenance and keep the ready-mix truck clean and mechanically sound.
• Provide excellent customer service, representing the company professionally.
• Collaborate effectively with dispatchers and team members to support smooth operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B). High school diploma preferred.
• Comply with FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse standards, qualifying as not prohibited.
• Proficient in English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
• Maintain an acceptable CSA and MVR record: no DUI/DWI in past five years and no more than three moving violations in the last three years.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols in construction and transportation contexts.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain clear communication with supervisors.
• Basic knowledge of traffic routes and truck maintenance skills are advantageous.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Mandatory use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety policies.
• Work in variable outdoor industrial environments.
• Regular activities include walking, sitting, lifting items up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
