Role Overview
We are seeking a Quantitative Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to take full ownership of Monarch's proprietary market-making strategies and high-efficiency execution platforms spanning various frontier markets. This position involves researching untapped markets, designing, implementing, and deploying trading strategies, and managing live trading books across spot, perpetual, and prediction market domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyze new trading venues and markets where liquidity and price formation are still evolving.
- Design, test, and launch market-making strategies across multiple frontier markets.
- Develop backtesting frameworks, simulations, and analytical tools to assess strategy effectiveness.
- Create and enhance market-making infrastructure and high-performance execution systems.
Candidate Profile
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience in quantitative research or quantitative development roles.
- Proficiency in Python programming and hands-on experience with live trading environments.
- Background in building systematic trading and execution platforms.
- Strong reasoning skills regarding risk assessment, edge identification, and execution nuances.
- Experience leveraging AI-based workflows to improve technical output quality.
- High personal initiative and a robust work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to prediction or event-driven markets.
- Understanding of spot/perpetual contract mechanics, including funding rates, basis, inventory risk, and hedging strategies.
- Experience in designing and maintaining high-performance production trading systems.
