The Consumer Goods Division focuses on helping brands, retailers, and manufacturers deliver products that are safe, high quality, and ethically produced. Its inspectors, auditors, and lab specialists work across items such as clothing, footwear, toys, baby products, electronics, appliances, and furniture.
Role Overview
This position sits within the Operations department and reports to the Inspector Team Leader or Operations Manager. The team’s goal is to deliver QIMA’s services to clients while maintaining the company’s quality standards.
The core responsibility of the role is to carry out on-site inspections of client merchandise and ensure that all inspection activities are completed accurately, professionally, and within the required timelines.
Key Duties
- Review incoming emails each day to collect the documents needed for scheduled inspections.
- Arrive at inspection locations on time and communicate with suppliers in a courteous, professional manner.
- Inspect merchandise according to company procedures and oversee container stuffing as required by those procedures.
- Complete inspection reports in line with company standards and within the assigned deadlines.
Qualifications
- A college degree or higher in apparel or a related discipline.
- More than 3 years of experience in quality management.
- Familiarity with AQL standards and relevant safety and quality regulations.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of professional ethics.
