QA Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned QA Engineer to join our Technology & Digital Solutions team, supporting ongoing business expansion and digital transformation efforts. This role is critical for guaranteeing the quality, performance, stability, and reliability of various digital assets including web and mobile applications, APIs, and integrations, ensuring smooth customer interactions within flight, hotel, transfer, activity, and insurance booking services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications, APIs, and booking systems.
• Verify business workflows across multiple travel-related services such as Flights, Hotels, Transfers, Activities, and Insurance.
• Develop and upkeep test plans, comprehensive test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform various testing activities including regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and user acceptance tests.
• Discover, record, prioritize, and track software defects using platforms like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Carry out API testing utilizing tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for vital business workflows.
• Validate the functionality of third-party integrations, including payment gateways and booking transactions.
• Execute performance and load testing to assess system robustness and scalability.
• Test software applications across various browsers, devices, and operating systems to ensure compatibility.
• Verify security measures relating to authentication, authorization, and secure customer data management.
• Support activities around release validation, deployment testing, post-release checks, and production readiness.
• Generate QA reports, document testing procedures, and finalize release approvals.
• Collaborate closely with software development, product management, business analysts, and operational teams.
• Keep abreast of advancements in QA tools, testing automation technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in software QA, testing, or quality engineering roles.
• Extensive expertise in manual testing and QA life cycle management.
• Preferred familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of API, web, mobile, and cross-browser testing methodologies.
• Comfortable working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Preferred experience with performance testing utilities such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Exposure to travel, tourism, OTA, airline, hospitality, or booking platform domains is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
