Python Developer

Role overview

Park Universal Private Limited is seeking a capable Python Developer with at least 1 year of practical experience. This is a full-time position based in Anand, Gujarat, and the selected candidate will contribute to live, production-level systems.

The work will center on backend development for applications that use APIs, real-time communication, and scalable server-side design.

What you will do

• Develop backend services and application logic using Python and Django.
• Create REST APIs and WebSocket-driven real-time features.
• Work with databases such as RDS, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Use caching tools like Redis and Django cache to improve performance.
• Build code that is structured, maintainable, and scalable.
• Prepare and update automated test cases.
• Investigate bugs, add logging, and improve application speed.
• Handle Python packaging tasks, including wheel file creation.
• Support deployment activities and basic server management.
• Collaborate with GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

What the role requires

• Strong understanding of Python fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and error handling.
• Hands-on experience with Django.
• Knowledge of WebSocket APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and RDS.
• Exposure to caching systems like Redis.
• Experience with testing tools such as pytest or unit testing.
• Basic understanding of servers and deployment processes.
• Working knowledge of GitHub and CI/CD practices.

Preferred strengths

• Ability to improve API performance and optimization.
• Familiarity with Linux or VPS environments.
• Basic awareness of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
