Position Overview
As a Senior Software Developer specializing in Python, you will design, develop, and sustain backend systems and AI-driven software solutions. Your responsibilities include constructing scalable APIs, embedding AI and machine learning models into production environments, and shaping architecture decisions for scalable, cloud-native applications. You will work closely with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and cloud architects within electrification and AI domains to produce reliable, high-performance software aligned with modern DevOps methodologies.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years in software development with strong Python expertise.
- Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Backend experience with RESTful API creation using FastAPI or comparable frameworks.
- Integration experience of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Generative AI models into production systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of scalable software architecture designs.
- Hands-on with CI/CD processes and DevOps best practices.
- Experience with Docker containers and Git version control.
- Familiarity with MLOps for model deployment, monitoring, and management.
- Knowledge of observability including logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock) or Azure (ML Studio, OpenAI Service).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills across multifunctional engineering groups.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coding with Rust is highly advantageous.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
- Proficiency in building efficient, scalable backend systems.
- Familiarity with observability monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or OpenTelemetry.
- Understanding of data engineering tasks including ETL pipelines and processing large datasets.
- Exposure to Power and Energy sector or industrial engineering systems is a bonus.
