Project Manager – Operations & Capital Improvements

Position Overview

This full-time role within the agency's Central Office Executive Leadership team is responsible for overseeing designated agency projects, particularly in capital improvement and other operational areas. Reporting to the Chief of Operations, the incumbent will lead projects from start to finish ensuring all deliverables, schedules, budgets, and goals are met. This involves detailed project planning, risk evaluation, task and resource scheduling, budget management, and comprehensive documentation including reports and change management.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, agency personnel, and other stakeholders to facilitate project progress and address issues.
• Monitor project compliance with specifications, contracts, regulations, and agency standards.
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to the Chief of Operations.
• Collaborate internally and externally to ensure timely, budget-friendly project completion minimizing disruption to agency functions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems management, public health, or related technical field.
• At least five years’ experience in project management or an equivalent mixture of education and professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a similar discipline.
• Proven background managing capital improvement, facility, construction, or infrastructure projects from planning through delivery.
• Strong coordination experience with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Ability to review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, contracts, and engineering documents.
• Skilled in project budgeting, expenditure tracking, and preparing status reports and presentations.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Position is full-time with standard working hours Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Salary starting at $85,000 annually.
• FLSA status: Exempt.
