Overview

This role involves overseeing assigned agency projects, specifically capital improvements and operational initiatives, under guidance from the Chief of Operations. The Project Manager will lead projects from start to finish, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and conduct risk assessments to facilitate successful project delivery.
  • Establish resource allocation and task scheduling to maintain project timelines.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets related to project activities.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation, reporting, and manage change processes.
  • Act as primary liaison, coordinating efforts among architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, agency personnel, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure compliance with contract specifications, regulations, and agency standards.
  • Provide regular project status updates and recommendations to the Chief of Operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal operational disruption.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, information systems management, public health, or related scientific/technical field.
  • At least five years of experience in managing projects.
