About the Role
Virtute Construction LLP is currently hiring a dedicated Project Manager to oversee construction projects from initiation through to successful completion. The position is based on project sites, primarily serving clients from Tier-1 and Tier-2 civil contracting firms. This full-time role demands leadership in managing various aspects of civil construction projects with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute project plans effectively.
- Mobilize labor resources according to project demands.
- Manage and supervise site activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee construction progress and compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate continuously with clients and consultants for project alignment.
- Manage relationships and performance of contractors and subcontractors.
- Plan and allocate resources efficiently across the project lifecycle.
- Handle material planning and maintain control over inventory.
- Monitor and control budgets, costs, and billing for both clients and contractors.
Required Experience and Skills
- 6 to 12 years of experience in a civil contracting environment.
- Proficiency in construction project management and scheduling techniques.
- Expertise in billing processes, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), quantity estimation, and rate analysis.
- Knowledgeable in vendor and subcontractor management.
- Skilled in material planning and cost control methodologies.
- Competence in quality assurance and quality control practices.
- Strong adherence to safety compliance standards.
- Technical proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
