Project Manager - Endpoint & Application Management

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to oversee endpoint and application management. This role involves supporting, securing, and optimizing endpoint devices like desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and IoT gadgets across various clients. The position requires a strong grasp of endpoint management technologies, application administration, and troubleshooting in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint devices ensuring they are up-to-date with software patches, security updates, and client-specific configurations.
• Manage a portfolio of applications, maintaining security, efficient performance, license compliance, and software patching.
• Keep accurate and current documentation regarding configurations and management procedures for endpoints and applications.
• Implement and uphold endpoint and application security measures aligned with corporate policies to protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Monitor security and performance continuously for both endpoints and applications.
• Create and maintain automation scripts/tools to streamline deployment, updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities.
• Provide level 2 and 3 technical support for endpoint devices, applications, and connectivity, documenting troubleshooting processes for knowledge retention.
• Develop user-oriented documentation, FAQs, and training programs to enhance adoption of technologies and encourage IT best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships including procurement, licensing, warranty tracking, and maintain comprehensive IT asset inventories.
• Research and suggest modern tools and techniques for enhancing endpoint and application management effectiveness and security.
• Participate actively in IT projects and implement initiatives related to endpoint/application services.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience in endpoint and application management within a managed services setting.
• Proficiency with endpoint management tools such as JumpCloud and Clonezilla.
• Hands-on experience with applications including Google Workspace, Office 365, Active Directory, Adaxes, Atlassian products, CrowdStrike, Zendesk, Slack, and MFA utilities.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks like Ansible.
• Strong expertise in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems: installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Competency in scripting languages for automation and task simplification.
• Relevant certifications are a plus: Google Workspace Administrator, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), ITIL Foundation.
