About the Role

In this position, you will be instrumental in devising profitable and competitive pricing strategies for complex project shipments that meet customer needs while ensuring operational feasibility. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and leverage approved pricing tools and portals to source carriers and costs aligned with service agreements.
- Ensure profitability by applying minimum selling margins covering all supplier expenses.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of quotes in designated systems.
- Navigate special cargo procedures for project shipments according to company guidelines.
- Collaborate with procurement managers on sourcing initiatives and automate rate processes within the transport management system (TMS).
- Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably within international freight forwarding.
- Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with sound decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with financial principles relating to commercial decision-making.
- Effective communicator with a cooperative and team-oriented mindset.
- Adaptable to change with a commitment to ongoing improvement.
