About Synergy Engineering Inc.
Synergy Engineering Inc., based in Pune, is a Project Management Consultancy firm focused on institutional and healthcare construction projects. Currently, they are managing a 100-bed Multi-Speciality Hospital construction at Khed Shivapur, Pune.
Role Summary
The Project Engineer will be responsible for on-site supervision of construction activities including civil, RCC, MEP, and finishing tasks ensuring adherence to quality and timelines. This role involves certifying contractor payments, maintaining quality documentation, and reporting progress to the Principal Consultant. A strong presence on-site and meticulous record-keeping are critical.
Key Duties
- Oversee various construction activities and monitor progress compared to planned schedules.
- Conduct quality control inspections at different construction stages, maintain non-conformance reports, and test documentation.
- Evaluate and certify contractor running account bills, verify BOQ items, and handle variation orders.
- Generate weekly progress reports including photographs and bar chart tracking.
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies present at the site.
- Implement safety protocols including PPE adherence, scaffolding inspections, and hazard reporting.
Requirements
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.
- B.E. or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering.
- Practical knowledge in site supervision and quality control.
- Experience with BOQ, billing, RCC construction, and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Indian Standards codes and hospital construction projects.
- Competency in contractor management and safety oversight.
