Project Coordinator

Role Overview

The Project Coordinator will provide crucial support to the Program Director and Project Managers, facilitating the delivery of projects in complex multi-stakeholder environments prevalent in the Middle East. Responsibilities include overseeing enterprise software deployment projects across various business divisions.

This position serves as the central communication hub, ensuring all project activities align, progress is visible, and communication flows smoothly among stakeholders. The main duties include aiding in planning, tracking, reporting, and governance to guarantee project delivery within the established scope, schedules, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Program Director and Project Managers with everyday project coordination tasks
• Facilitate coordination across Presales, Sales, Finance, and cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and momentum
• Help monitor project scopes, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to agreed plans
• Track and consolidate updates on project progress, risks, issues, required actions, and any scope modifications
• Maintain effective stakeholder communication with clear, prompt, and organized information distribution across all levels
• Generate and update weekly and monthly project reports, dashboards, and presentations
• Keep project documentation accurate and current within the designated tools and systems
• Support meeting organization including preparation of agendas, minute-taking, and follow-up actions
• Coordinate on-site activities as necessary, liaising with client teams and contractors
• Assist with risk and issue management, ensuring proper monitoring, follow-ups, and escalation procedures
• Provide support to senior project managers on more complex or larger-scale programs and initiatives
• Contribute to process enhancements and adoption of project management best practices
• Help ensure high customer satisfaction through diligent coordination and follow-through
• Uphold high standards of ethics and professionalism in all project activities

Qualifications

A relevant degree in Engineering, Business, or IT equips candidates with a strong foundation for project management. Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or IPMA are advantageous, demonstrating mastery of formal project management methodologies.
