Project Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Project Architect who will be responsible for collaborating with all project stakeholders to gather design and permitting information, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. This role involves coordinating site inspections, securing authority approvals, managing projects from initiation through to handover, and preparing documentation for authorities and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to obtain design and permitting inputs for timely, quality deliverables
• Organize site inspections and manage the clearance process with appropriate authorities
• Oversee all aspects of project management including submissions to authorities, procurement preparations, and detailed documentation

Candidate Requirements

• Possess enthusiasm and strong team collaboration skills
• Hold a recognised university degree in Architecture
• A minimum of five years post-graduate experience in architectural schematic design, design development, tender documentation, and project administration across a variety of scales and types of projects, notably including industrial developments; candidates with greater experience may be considered for senior positions
• Maintain a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently without supervision
• Have a solid understanding of local building codes, regulations, authority requirements, and compliance procedures
• Candidates with higher levels of experience will be evaluated for senior roles
• Applicants not Qualified as QP will be appointed as Executive (Architectural)
