Project Architect

About the Role

Join Morson Group, a specialized Sydney architectural firm focused on residential apartments, education institutions, and commercial developments. We are looking for a dedicated Architect to become part of our Sydney team. Success in this role entails taking full responsibility for architectural documentation, producing precise Revit models and drawings, and collaborating effectively within a small, skilled team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate architectural documents through all phases of projects
• Create and maintain Revit models adhering to our practice standards
• Ensure that all designs comply with the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and relevant planning controls
• Collaborate with consultants, clients, builders, and regulatory authorities as needed
• Manage projects and provide construction superintendency oversight

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least three years of post-graduate experience in the architecture industry
• Advanced proficiency in Revit
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, Lumion, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of NCC 2022, Australian Standards, and New South Wales planning regulations
• Registered architect with the NSW Architects Registration Board or actively pursuing registration
