Program Manager - Fintech Payments

The FinTech Program Management team plays a crucial role in scaling and supporting the FinTech business units by identifying growth opportunities and enhancing operational efficiency. This involves overseeing strategic initiatives, leading cross-functional programs, and managing external partner relationships. The position offers extensive exposure to diverse functions such as Product Management, Strategic Partnerships, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of major programs, managing stakeholder relationships and guiding essential decisions and outcomes.
• Oversee operational partnerships with external vendors, collaborating with the Strategic Alliances team to optimize partner performance.
• Create and execute comprehensive program plans, including requirement scoping, identifying areas for improvement, and driving operational excellence.
• Implement large-scale and impactful initiatives within the FinTech domain and act as a business partner for other segments on relevant FinTech projects.
• Manage the partner incident lifecycle, including administering the customer reimbursement processes as necessary.
• Utilize artificial intelligence to enhance operational efficiency and design frameworks that facilitate smooth launches of new cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Between 5 to 7+ years of relevant experience in consulting, financial services, or similar roles in high-growth tech companies, particularly in product operations or program management.
• Proven experience in the fintech sector, with a strong preference for payments-related knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory, ideally in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Quantitative Sciences.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing various stakeholders effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, startup-like environments while managing multiple deadlines efficiently.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities for structuring and solving complex business challenges, including experience in detailed program planning and process optimization.
• Comfortable collaborating with teams based in the US Eastern Time Zone.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within the U.S. FinTech industry is advantageous.
