About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager or Business Analyst with deep expertise in Content Management Systems (CMS) and digital content delivery platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Content as a Service (CaaS), CMS integrations, microservices architectures, and A/B testing platforms. This role focuses on translating business requirements into actionable product plans, driving product strategy, and facilitating the transition to modern CMS and content platforms.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for CMS projects and digital content initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including business leaders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to define capabilities and solutions.
- Support adoption and migration efforts towards modern CMS platforms leveraging Content as a Service (CaaS) architectures.
- Work directly with development teams to integrate CMS solutions within microservices-based content delivery frameworks.
- Create precise user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Conduct requirements workshops to ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementations.
- Participate actively in product roadmap development, backlog grooming, and sprint planning activities.
- Drive initiatives for A/B testing and content personalization enhancement.
- Perform validation through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm features meet business expectations.
- Monitor ongoing product performance and propose iterative improvements to optimize customer experience.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 8 to 12 years experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager.
- Comprehensive understanding and experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Proficiency with Content as a Service (CaaS) or headless CMS technology stacks.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API-driven content delivery mechanisms.
- Experience managing CMS migration and integration projects.
- Knowledge of A/B testing platforms and digital content experimentation methodologies.
- Strong skills in eliciting and documenting business requirements and translating them into detailed implementation stories.
- Experienced working in Agile/Scrum team environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, or Strapi.
- Experience in REST API utilization and system integrations.
- Understanding of digital content publishing workflows.
- Exposure to personalization and experimentation platforms aimed at optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud-native or microservices-based digital platforms.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.
- MBA or certifications in Product Management considered advantageous.
